Friday’s Reflection
WHAT WE SAY AND SING when we gather for worship matters greatly. How our community itself articulates and embodies the word, song, and hospitality of God matters greatly. This intentional Christ-journey on which we embark needs silence, and it needs song: joyful and aching music that impresses sacred and reflective texts on our hearts; thoughtful and dynamic music that expresses our individual and communal “yes” to the One who calls us onward; meditative music that encourages listening; soulful rhythms that dance with the Word.
