Tuesday’s Reflection
AS WE HEAD into the darker time of the year, our corner of the world turns the lights down low and calls us to be more internal and more reflective. It’s a time that asks us to face dreams unrealized, unworthy, unreached. We focus on what’s underneath the ground, on what’s deep beneath the ground. Underground, in exile, we are being repaired and restored for the next thing, for some newness. That God is scripting this newness for us is as certain as spring coming each year. The God who plucks up and tears down is the very same God who will plant and build.
