Growth through Struggle

Saturday’s Reflection

GIVEN THE CHOICE between making the way easy and making the way difficult, I sometimes tilt toward difficulty. I’ve learned that my soul often needs to have something to push against, something to forge and form it. I feel rather like Jacob sometimes: occasionally I need heated wrestling match with the Divine, a struggle that will help me find a new name.
BLESSING,br>When the path is simple, peace.
When the way is complicated, peace.
May Christ not only show you the way
but also be the way you travel:
way of blessing, way of peace.
