Monday’s Reflection
[Julian of Norwich writes of a vision she had.]
AND THEN [GOD] SHOWED a little thing, the size of a hazelnut, lying in the palm of my hand, it seemed to me. It was as round as a ball. I looked at it with the eye of my understanding and thought, What can this be? It was answered generally thus: “It is all that is made.”
I marveled that it could last, for it was so little that it could suddenly have become nothing. I was answered in my understanding, “It lasts and ever shall, for God loves it.”
And so everything has being by the love of God.

Today’s Question
Julian of Norwich envisions holding a hazelnut, and it reminds her of God’s love for all of creation. What tangible items remind you of God’s love?
Find an object in nature and put it somewhere you will see it frequently. Let it remind you of God’s love for you and all creation. Share your reflections.
