Friday’s Reflection
NOONTIME PRAYER gives us the occasion to pray for those things that happened in the morning, as well as to seek grace to face the things that are yet to come. In the early church, Wednesdays and Fridays were set aside as days to fast during the noon hour. . . .
Pray the following prayer or one like it:
Gracious God, at this hour of the day, your Son suffered on the cross for my redemption. I accept anew the gift of his salvation and offer myself as a witness to that salvation.
In the generous portion of the day that remains, give me grace to be attentive to the needs of those around me that I may continue to offer myself to you as a living sacrifice. Direct me as you like; use me as you will. I ask no more than this. Amen.

Today’s Question
If you are a caregiver for a family member or loved one, this reflection is meant to encourage you and help you rely on God’s strength to make it through your daily challenges. If you know a caregiver, pray for that person and think about how you might be able to help; whether by sitting with the loved one for a while so the caregiver can get out, sending a card, making a phone call, or doing something to brighten the caregiver’s day. Share your reflections.
