A Prayer for Coworkers

Monday’s Reflection

THANK YOU, GOD, for my job.
Sometimes I get tired of the people at work:
the whiners and complainers,
the naysayers and backstabbers,
the bullies and cheats.
Then I remember the others:
the saints and soldiers,
the peacemakers and cheerleaders,
the listeners and uplifters.
And I am thankful.

Today’s Scripture Reading

Psalm 3:1-5

This Week: pray for for church committees, conferences, councils. Add your prayer to the Prayer Wall.
Tips for Your Spirit:
Praying with Eyes Open. Many of us were taught to close our eyes when we pray. Praying with icons is an ancient prayer practice that involves keeping our eyes wide open, taking into our heart what the image visually communicates. Try praying with icons.
Saints, Inc.:
This week we remember Anslem (May 21).
