God’s Plan for Your Life

Monday’s Reflection

IN GOD’S KINGDOM, there is no resting on your spiritual laurels — no matter how old you are. No matter how frail you might become one day. God still has a plan for the rest of your life, and it is good. Think about it. Isn’t it God’s will that you seek God in prayer? Doesn’t God want you to serve others with a humble heart? Doesn’t scripture tell you always to offer God worship and praise?

Old age is no excuse for failing to be available to God. God doesn’t want you to sit on the sidelines of life but to get back into the game. You can still influence others by the way you face the challenges and find the joy in aging. So don’t quit living now. Your life is not over until it is over. Your story is not finished. You are never to old to be put to use by God.
